Drill #1 - Wreaking Havoc 

• Two forwards swing low from opposite sides of ice
• Receive pass from defence in corner
• The two forwards attack opposite end - defence chases but stops at blueline
• Coach passes to defenceman for point shot
• Same two forwards curl up-ice and receive pass from coach to create a 2vs1
• As forwards cross blueline the backchecker jumps in to create a 2vs1 with a backchecker who will wreak havoc on the two forwards
• Once shot has been taken or play broken up, the two forwards and defenceman return to line-up and rest
• The backchecking forward now swings up-ice - receives a pass from the other coach for a breakaway to the far end
• As he approaches opposing blueline, two new forwards start drill in the opposite direction of the first two forwards
• Skating forwards should rotate with backcheckers
• THIS DRILL IS TO BE DONE CONTINUOUSLY
